The Future of Business

The University of St.Gallen MBA Summer School offers you the chance to study up to three MBA elective modules either as a pre-cursor to your MBA studies or as a stand-alone certificate in Executive Education.

The 2010 MBA Summer School has a theme covering the Future of Business with a special emphasis this year on how the current economic problems are affecting how managers across a range of industries, how emerging markets are coping with the crisis, and the future outlook for banking and finance industry.

Each 5-day module is available both to current MBA participants and to external applicants. Credits gained can be accredited later to the St.Gallen MBA programme. This provides you with not only an insight into the MBA programme and current affairs, but also the opportunity to network within the St.Gallen MBA class.

Participants can attend either one, two or three courses, each covering 5 days on-campus in St. Gallen. The courses entail lectures, projects, simulations, cases and guest speakers. Participants need to be present to receive credits for these electives.

External candidates will receive a management certificate and will be able to use the credits and tuition payments should they decide to continue with the MBA programme.

The University of St.Gallen is offering a prize of one free place on an MBA Summer School module for the participants in the MBA Studie 2010. The winner will be able to choose from one of three 5-day modules at the St.Gallen MBA, with a choice of Finance, Economics or Marketing with a topic of 'The Future of Management'.
